implications of the use of technology in education
Technology has made students so lazy that they have lost the ability to think on their own, as their smart phones and other technology devices can do that for them. Instead of making mental calculations or following long divisions in maths, they can just type in the question and get straight to the answer even when they do not understand the question. This seems to be a good thing for them as it is faster and accurate but what they do not know is that they have completely become slaves to technology, they have allowed it to control their minds.
Another issue is the implication it has on the health of the students and learners. Spending many hours behind the computer screen have proven to be detrimental to health; it is one of the lead causes of back pain and eye problems.
